The Langton's sugarcane farm is bordered by the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve and a walk or short drive will take one to spectacular views of the Gorge, one of the continent's truly unspoilt beauty spots.

The Oribi Gorge

There is a second gorge nearby through which the Umzimkulu river flows, making Oribi flats where the farm is situated a picturesque plateau between two river valleys.
This is an ultra-wide panorama of the Umzimkulu River from the Leopard Rock Restaurant. At certain times of the year, the Umzimkulu Gorge turns into a dramatic and beautiful ‘ocean of mist’ for several hours of the day.

Several km of rock-lined pathways lead to the various view sites on the farm.
